I got a new mac book...
You can use an ethernet cord to migrate it. Don’t fret. Connect an ethernet to the new and old comp. Then open the migration assistant.
And I am fucking furious. After paying 1500 for the nice aluminum casing and 4 gig rams… I take it home, get ready to migrate my old mac and learn. There is no muthafuckin’ FireWire port!!??? I have a professional digital camcorder that only supports FireWire. I specifically got the mac for video and there is no port. I swear to god I will punch Steve jobs in the face if I ever see him. The purposely removed it so you can get the pro and dish out another 1k. I have a 3000 dollar cam and a 1500 mac just sitting there until I get a converter. And that’s if I find one.
I hope this purchase ain’t in vain.
